Uncut Mountain Press relaunching; several new books to come

Jordanville, New York, December 11, 2017

Uncut Mountain Press, the publisher of such seminal and popular works as The Truth of Our Faith Vols. 1 and 2 by Elder Cleopa of Romania, Patristic Theology by Fr. John Romanides, Apostle to Zaire by Dimitri Aslanidis and Monk Damascene Grigoriatis, The Ecclesiological Renovation of Vatican II by Protopresbyter Peter Heers, and Exomologetarion, Concerning Frequent Communion, and Confession of Faith by St. Nikodemos the Hagiorite, has announced a relaunch today.

Uncut Mountain Press was founded in 2001, and quickly established itself as one of the premier publishers of Patristically-minded and theologically-rich works for adults and children, specializing in literature from Greece and Mt. Athos.

After a break in publishing, the press has relocated from Thessaloniki to Jordanville, New York and is re-launching with new editions and new releases coming in 2018.

To help with the re-launch, the press has started a GoFundMe page. Donors will receive free books in return for their generosity that will go towards hiring editors and translators, creating ebooks, purchasing computer accessories, and all the many costs that go into getting a book onto the shelves and into your hands!

In addition to revised and expanded editions of their classic publications, Uncut Mountain Press has several new titles in the works, including:

* Treatise on the Procession of the Holy Spirit by St Gregory Palamas
* Ecumenism: Origins, Expectations and Disenchantment
* An Ecclesiological Reader: A Collection of Essays on the Nature of the Church and the Reception of Converts
* Presuppositions and Criteria for Theologizing in an Orthodox Manner and Without Delusion by Professor Demetrios Tselengidis
* The Life and Selected Writings of the New Martyr, St. Hilarion Troitsky
* On Common Prayer with the Heterodox, According to the Canons of the Church by Protopresbyter Anastasios Gotsopoulos
* Witnesses of the Whole Christ: Martyrs and Confessors Under the Latins
* Postcards from Greece: Homilies On Our Life in Christ
* Orthodox Ecclesiology in the Age of Ecumenism
* Phyletism and Ecumenism: Two Expressions of Secularism, the Spirit of Antichrist
* Living Orthodoxy in a Greek Mountain Village
* Amish Orthodoxy: A Theological, Spiritual and Sociological Examination
