Fr. Simeon (Tokovchuk), a monk of the Kiev Caves Lavra, reposed in the Lord on Saturday, reports the monastery website.
He was 89 years old.
The monastery abbot and brotherhood express their condolences to his family and all who knew the departed. Fr. Simeon’s funeral will be served tomorrow after the early Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross.
The monastery asks for prayers for the newly-departed servant of God Monk Simeon.
