With the launch of a new online radio station, Orthodox Christians everywhere can listen to services, chants, and spiritual talks from the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

On Monday, the Diocesan Voice radio station of the Sofia Metropolis was officially blessed and opened by His Grace Bishop Polycarp of Belogradchik, together with clergy and staff of the Metropolis.

The station can be heard on the site of the Metropolis of Sofia.

The first broadcast went out on October 15, on the 76th birthday of His Holiness Patriarch Neofit.

During the ceremony, Bp. Polycarp expressed the hope that the station will contribute to the spiritual improvement of the faithful of the metropolis.

He also emphasized that the station will also be used as a training center for newly ordained deacons and priests, and for refreshing the liturgical, theological, and social knowledge of the clergy.
