Church of Sts. Peter and Paul in Mospino village of Donetsk region shelled by “hail” missiles

Kiev, August 18, 2014

At night of August 16 to 17 during an attack, a shell from the Grad (“Hailstones”) missile hit the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul in Mospino village of the Donetsk region.

The 1.5-metre-long shell “carefully” entered through a window and went into the church floor, overturning a vase with flowers standing near the Icon of the Lord Pantocrator, wrote Archpriest George Gulyayev on his “Facebook” page.

On August 17 no service was celebrated at the church.
