Thousands filled the streets of Zakynthos for the annual procession of the holy relics of St. Dionysios, marking 300 years since the transfer of his relics from the Strofades Monastery to Zakynthos.
The relics of this newly glorified saint of the Serbian Orthodox Church rest in the Bezdin Monastery in the Diocese of Timișoara, Romania.

The church has served the local Orthodox community since 1933, when it was built by Russian émigrés who had fled to France following the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution and subsequent civil war.
