At the end of August, ten students of Eton made a private, unofficial visit to Russia, during which they spent time in Moscow and St. Petersburg, became acquainted with their Russian counterparts, and met with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. We asked the boys to share their impressions.

At the end of the August, eleven students of Eton College came to Russia on an unofficial visit, spending time in Moscow and St. Petersburg. In Moscow the Etonians were received by Sretensky Monastery and Sretensky Theological Seminary. The undergraduate and graduate students of Sretensky Seminary, many of whom also hold secular university degrees, were especially interested to hear about how education is organized at Eton.

It is far from unlikely that “secular” will in the future just mean “satanic”. The modern world is every bit as spiritual as the old one—and the struggle between good and evil is far from over.

Whatever discussions occur regarding the possible revival or creation of an order of female deacon, let us all at least be open and truthful. Let us admit that this is not that: the proffered model of deaconess bears little resemblance to the ancient order. Let us therefore debate possibility of the new model on its own modern merits.

Any conciliarity or consultation that is not in the fear of God and sincere repentance, is an extension of the council of Caiaphas that judged Christ to have blasphemed and called for His death! This is what happens to those who blaspheme against the Son of God! They judge Him in the remnant of those who keep faith in Him to have blasphemed! The Antichrist is not foreign to our surroundings!
