Multifaceted Russia

The Russian multimedia project “Russian Roads” www.rusroads.com was created to provide a picture of the Russian land—its nature, culture, and history; its past and its present. It is useless to try to describe this large-scale project—you just have to visit the site and immerse yourself in the tens of thousands of photographs, histories, and multimedia. The best photographers in the country are already participating in the project, but its value lies in the fact that anyone can become a co-author, putting hitherto overlooked places on the map. The organizers of the “Russian Roads” project have chosen the best photos from their section called “Multimedia. Modern Photographs” for Pravoslavie.ru. We hope our readers enjoy these amazing pictures of vast Mother Russia, which they won’t find in a tour guide!
