His Eminence Metropolitan Anthony, the Prime Hierarch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA and Diaspora, is currently in a hospital in New Jersey following a car accident over the weekend.
A message on the Ukrainian Church site asks for prayers for His Eminence and notes that he is undergoing tests and treatments.
A prayer included in the message reads: “O Physician of souls and bodies, Christ our Savior, with a contrite and anxious heart we turn to You and with tears, we implore You: Heal the infirmity and quell the spiritual and physical sufferings of Your servant.”
