Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will meet with the bishops of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Tuesday, the Kiev Metropolia reported to RIA-Novosti yesterday.

“Such a meeting is planned for November 13,” the chancellery reported, adding that the participation of all diocesan and vicar bishops is required.

No other details were shared at that time.

Recall that only three days ago, Poroshenko declared that all such “representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church” should leave Ukraine.

The chancellery reported the same to TASS, saying, “There will be such a meeting on November 13. We will not comment further for now.”

The chancellery also declined to clarify if His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kiev and All Ukraine will be present or not.
