St. Gabriel of Imereti
The Savior established this Kingdom on earth and entrusted it to us Christians to propagate, strengthen, and fortify.
For a Christian, the most valuable treasures are his honor and dignity, and losing them is like death.
At least once a day, a man should take a look in that mirror that is always invisibly with him, known as the conscience.
Happiness is the state of a calm, joyful, and cheerful soul, and only a man with a clear conscience can experience it.
Honor this day as a sacred day. On Sunday, we should serve the Lord alone and do the works of God.
It’s only in the Church that the Word of God and His teaching are fully heard; only the Church is the house of the Lord on earth—there the bloodless sacrifice and prayers and hymns are offered.
The main thing in Confession is that the grace of the Holy Spirit is at work there.
The fortitude of man and the strength of his spirit are best manifested in the face of obstacles and resistance.
Christian mercy is the heartfelt feeling of a kind man awakened and strengthened by faith.
