Last week, Hieromonk Silouan (Brown), head of the non-profit organization Orthodox Africa and the St. John the Wonderworker Orthodox Christian Mission Center in Kampala, Uganda (ROCOR), spoke about a new miracle of the Holy Hierarch.
The St. John Mission Center was founded on Palm Sunday 2022, with the blessing of the late Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral) of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. The main goal of thе mission is to create an economically independent and self-sufficient group of local leaders.
The Mission is in the midst of a project to build a permanent mission center on its own land, and in a video published on Friday, January 26, Fr. Silouan tells about how St. John answered his prayers by sending a benefactor, all within 15 minutes:
Fr. Silouan and the Mission are in need of prayers and financial support, which can be offered through the Orthodox Africa website.
