A new mosaic of St. Sava, donated by a pious Serbian family, has been installed at the St. Sava New Kalenic Monastery in Wallaroo, Australia.
The new piece, made by renowned artist Risto Vujinovic in Trebinje, Serbia, shows the spiritual forefather of the Serbian people blessing the faithful and pointing to the Holy Gospel, “offering a message and invitation to the Serbian people for love, unity, and harmony,” reports the Serbian Orthodox Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand.
The mosaic was gifted by the family of Sava Kovacevic in Melbourne and installed through the efforts of Orthodox faithful from Brisbane.
“To the Kovacevic family, once again, we express our profound gratitude for their love towards their Serbian Orthodox Church and the faithful of our Diocese, demonstrated through this God-pleasing gift to the St. Sava New Kalenic Monastery.”
