The Divine Liturgy for the day was celebrated by His Grace Bishop Theodosios of Seattle, vicar of the Western American Diocese, along with local clergy, ROCOR reports.

Following the service, the clergy and faithful processed to and held a memorial service at the resting place of the first Russian settlers.

The day concluded with a festive meal at the Kazan Mother of God Church in Guerneville.
