The European youth committee of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia has announced it will hold the first All-European Orthodox Youth Conference from September 3-8, 2026, in Bocca di Magra, Italy. The event is being organized jointly by representatives from Germany, England, Spain and Italy, with the blessing of Metropolitan Mark and Bishops Irenei and Job.

The five-day conference will take place at a historic hotel overlooking the Italian seaside near Florence. Organizers aim to establish a sustainable network of Orthodox youth organizations across Europe, promote intercultural learning and international understanding, strengthen youth participation and self-organization, and develop joint European youth projects, reports roj-deutschland.de.

The program will include common prayers, meals, workshops, open-space sessions and cultural activities, as well as a trip to Florence where participants will attend Liturgy at the Church of the Nativity of Christ and St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

The conference is open to young people across Europe between 18 and 35 years old who actively participate in Orthodox Church youth programs and regularly attend or organize youth events. Organizers have requested that participants commit to actively taking part in all conference activities.

Registration is available in English and Russian online and will remain open until February 1. Three ticket options are being offered: a standard ticket for 350 euros, a sponsor ticket for 450 euros for those wishing to support the conference financially, and a discounted ticket for 250 euros for students and those in difficult financial situations, available in limited numbers.

For questions or additional information, interested parties can contact the organizing committee at conference@roj-deutschland.de.
