Buenos Aires: Iconographers beautifying Serbian Orthodox cathedral (+VIDEO)

Iconographers from Montenegro are currently working to complete the frescoes in the Serbian Orthodox cathedral in the capital of Argentina.

The artists will be at the cathedral through March 10, reports the Diocese of Buenos Aires, South America, and Central America.

Parishioners were shown the progress on the painting of the interior walls on Sunday, following the Liturgy and the procession in honor of the feast of the Triumph of Orthodoxy.

The church in question is the former St. Mary’s Church in Knockmacool, located roughly 25 miles from Cork city center and 50 miles from Killarney. Many faithful from different communities were present to pray to the Lord and celebrate the holy illuminator of the Serbs, St. Sava.
