Deacon Andrei Antchoutine, a cleric of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia’s Holy Virgin Intercession Church in Glen Cove, NY, reposed suddenly on Monday, March 30, at the age of 32, the Eastern American Diocese reports.
He is survived by his wife Natalya and their two young children, Alexei and Mila, who are in need of financial support to cover funeral expenses and other needs.
Dcn. Andrei was ordained to the diaconate by His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas, the First Hierarch of ROCOR, on the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, September 27, 2022, and served in holy orders for the last three and a half years of his life.

The fundraiser set an initial goal of $30,000. As of the time of writing, $33,805 has already been raised, though the family will continue to need support. Those wishing to contribute or share the campaign are encouraged to do so.

● Thursday, April 2, 10:00 a.m. — Funeral at Holy Virgin Protection Church, Nyack
● Thursday, April 2, 1:00 p.m. — Burial at Novo-Diveevo Convent, followed by a memorial repast at Holy Virgin Protection Church Hall in Nyack
