Speaking on the Pemptousia internet radio program, journalist Maria Giachnak said the series will reveal little-known aspects of the saint’s ascetic life, reports the Orthodoxia News Agency.

“This series is starting now. After Pascha its filming. It will be a very special series as it will concern the life of St. Joseph the Hesychast, this great ascetic, and I think that through this series we’ll see and experience moments which we can’t imagine exist, and real events will be revealed to us which will offer our souls tranquility, peace,” she said.

The series is a production of the Institute of St. Maximos the Greek.
