And that means that all the most horrible things in this world are already conquered, and all that is most beautiful will inevitably triumph!
Do you remember sixth-grade biology? The caterpillar. In its cocoon it undergoes histolysis, and turns into a molecular “mush”. To us it it’s obviously the end, destruction, “caput”, total annihilation. But the Creator forms a butterfly from this. (Incidentally, in ancient Greek a butterfly is ψυχή—that is, the same word as “soul”). If it seems to us that today our life has turned into a “formless mush,” let’s know, that this is not chaos; this is the moment in which our wings are being put together. 🙏✌🏼😊
