St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary
Married student housing is currently being installed at St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary (OCA) in South Canaan, PA, with construction progress moving rapidly through the month of May.
Married student housing has been a dream at St. Tikhon’s for many years. While single students live in a dorm on campus, married students have been responsible for finding their own housing in nearby towns. Now they will have dedicated housing on campus, a few minutes’ walk from the monastery church and the seminary building.

The new housing is being privately funded by a generous donor.
One of the duplex foundations was poured earlier this month, with additional foundation work and concrete pours to follow, the seminary reports.
On May 19, the first sections of the new modular homes and their components began arriving, staged throughout the seminary parking lot and overflow areas.

Later in the month, the duplex homes themselves will be set into place and roofed, marking another significant milestone in the project supporting seminarians and their families.
