In remarks delivered at the gathering, Bp. Kliment expressed the significance of the multi-jurisdictional concelebration:
Although we come from different peoples, languages, and traditions, we are united by one faith, one Baptism, and one Holy Spirit. Today, as Serbs, Bulgarians, Greeks, Romanians, Americans, and Orthodox Christians of various backgrounds stand together before the throne of God, we bear witness to the unity that Christ has granted to His Holy Church, that we may all be one in Him.
A large number of faithful from Holy Trinity Church, together with members of the Bulgarian Orthodox community, participated in the celebration.
The parish also received a gift of a relic cloth from the vestments of St. King Milutin, a venerated figure in Serbian spiritual and national history, which will be kept at the church for the veneration of the faithful.
Following the Divine Liturgy, the gathering continued with a fellowship meal.
