His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America (Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia) has been released from the hospital after being admitted last week.
On Tuesday, June 16, Abp. Kyrill, 71, underwent a heart ablation. He initially felt well but had to be urgently admitted to the hospital early on Thursday morning.
On Sunday, June 20, the diocese reported that the Archbishop is feeling better: “His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill’s condition is improved, having been stabilized after treatment. He has been released from the hospital.”
“Vladyka Kyrill is sincerely thankful to all for the prayers and messages of support, and asks for continued prayers since his condition is still ongoing.”
