The bust was created according to a design by the noted Russian sculptor Vyacheslav Klykov, whose works are well known both in Russia and abroad. The monument’s installation was made possible through the efforts of the Generalov family.

The Church of All Saints Who Have Shone Forth in the Land of Russia in Burlingame brings together people of different generations, including descendants of Russian émigrés, more recent arrivals, and Orthodox Americans.

The opening of the monument was accompanied by a photography exhibition dedicated to the Royal Family, with materials provided by the Sretensky Monastery in Moscow.
