20+ baptized at Orthodox church in Mississippi

St. Paul Orthodox Church (Antiochian Archdiocese) in Tupelo, Mississippi, celebrated a joyous event on Saturday, July 11, as nearly two dozen people were united to Christ in Holy Baptism.

“Blessed to baptize 22 people today!” rector Fr. David Bibeau wrote on social media.

St. Paul’s is one of the many rapidly growing parishes across America. Just since Pascha, the church has reported the making of 15 new catechumens and 24 people being received into the Church, including those baptized on Saturday.

The parish moved into a new church building in the spring of 2025.
