Vladivostok, August 19, 2010
This holy icon of Priamuria and all the Far East will be brought to the Primorsk regional capital by Archbishop Gabriel of Blagoveschensk and Tyndinsk, along with clergy of the diocese.
The solemn meeting will take place on September 4 at the Vladivostok railway station, at 8:00 a.m. The icon will be in the church car of the "Ocean" train from Khabarovsk. The icon will then be brought to the Protection Cathedral, where Divine Liturgy and Vigil will be served the same day, reports the Vladivostok diocesan site.
On the next day, Sunday, September 5, after Divine Liturgy, there will be a cross procession at 11:30 from the Protection Cathedral, along Ocean Prospect, to the Central Square. The procession will be led by two revered holy icons of the Far East—the Port Arthur (Vladivostok) and Albazin icons of the Mother of God. At 12:00 a moleben will be served on the square before these miracle-working icons.
