Church thefts continuing in Greece

This time the burglars' target was the St. George Church, situated in the Pano Stroubi district of the Patha region.

The burglary, according to a local priest of this church, took place between September 15 and 16.

Unidentified people broke into St George Church in Stroubi and stole 10 large silver icon-lamps, one silver cross of medium size, one silver icon of St. George, and silver vessels from it, reports Romphea.
