Schismatics proclaim “Death to the Muscovites” as canonical Ukrainians prayerfully process to Pochaev Lavra

Facebook Facebook The so-called “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” (OCU) is built upon a foundation of ethnophyletistic nationalism, which its supporters only prove more and more as time goes by.

In one of the most recent incidents, parishioners from the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church processing to Pochaev were met on August 22 by a billboard, supporters of the schismatic OCU,. reading, “Death to the Muscovites,” reports the press service of the Chernivtsi-Bukhovina Diocese.

The faithful of the true Orthodox Church responded: “Indeed He is Risen!”

Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who teamed up with Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople to create the OCU that is now persecuting the faithful of the Ukrainian Church, proclaimed in October that the creation of the OCU would represent “a great victory of the God-loving Ukrainian people over the Moscow demons, the victory of Good over Evil, the victory of Light over Darkness.”
