A 135-meter monument representing an angel with a dove will appear in southern shore of Cyprus near "fruit" capital of the capital - town of Limassol.

The idea of the project Good Angels of Peace symbolizing peace and charity has appeared in Russia five years ago. The monument will be higher than the Statue of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, the Statue of Liberty in the USA and Statue of Buddha in China and will be constructed from nanomaterials, the Moskovsky Komsomolets daily reports on Monday.

"The statue will be covered with a special layer of film hundred times lighter than glass. It may have any color, but in our case it will be golden. It is ecologically clean technology," the author of its art concept, Russia's honored artist Pyotr Stronsky said.

Foundation of the complex will house a vast infrastructure for tourists - a concert hall, cafe, restaurants and the monument will have three observation desks where you can get using express lifts. Circular stares will lead to the highest point of the monument.

Though the idea of monument to the angel belongs to Russia, an American company will finance its construction in Cyprus. Its president Denis Spiegel is sure that the project will be repaid in 2012 and he forecasts that number of tourists visiting the complex will be 823 thousand people in 2014, while in 2018 their number will total to 882 thousand a year.
