Two new M. P. parishes established abroad

Moscow, December 26, 2012

By decision of the Holy Synod taken at the session from December 25­–26, 2012, two new parishes were received in the Moscow Patriarchate. A new parish has appeared in the roster of the Budapest-Hungarian diocese, dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God, “Life-giving Spring” in the Hungarian city of Hévíz.

Also received into the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church is the newly-established parish of St. Michael the Archangel in the Malaysian city of Kuala-Lampur.

Liturgy on the feast of St. Nicholas in Hévíz. Space for Orthodox services has been provided by various Catholic churches in that city.
