Orthodox Missionary Fraternity: First time Christmas

December 19, 2014

The Orthodox Missionary Fraternity has sent a Christmas card, encouraging Orthodox Christians to help them in their mission:

“Thousands of people this year will celebrate the Divine Nativity of the Savior for the first time, thanks to you

“In less than 8 days, Christmas will be here. Around the world, Christians will celebrate the redeeming message of the Incarnation of God. However, there will be billions of people who will keep on their lives without knowing Christ. In huge areas of the world, neither carols will be sung nor joyous bells will be heard.

“This year, though, thousands of people in Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, the Philippines and Fiji islands will keep Christmas for the first time, thanks to the tireless work of Orthodox missionaries. With your own help, more and more souls join the Orthodox Church every day. Help us do more.

“Support the holy cause and help more people this year to celebrate Christmas.”
