Dochiar. Honoring "Her Who is Quick to Hear"
On October 1/14, when the Russian Church celebrates the Protection of the Mother of God, on the Holy Mount Athos they honor was of the most well-known holy shrines of the Orthodox world—the icon of the Mother of God, "Quick to Hear". On this day, Pravoslavie.ru author Vladimir Orlov was in Dochiar Monastery, where the miracle working icon of the Mother of God is kept.
