Martyr Firmus, one of the seven martyred brothers in Georgia

Saint Firmus was one of seven martyred brothers who lived in Georgia during the reign of Maximian (284-305).

The brothers were banished to the Caucasus. During the journey all seven brothers died from hunger or torture.

Sts Firmus and Firminus died on July 7 at Aspara, on the eastern shore of the Black Sea.
