Novice Elenko was tonsured as Fr. Spyridon at the Bulgarian Zographou Monastery on Mt. Athos on the Sunday of Orthodoxy, as OrthoChristian previously reported.

And on the Sunday of St. John Climacus and the great feast of the Annunciation, the monastery had the joy of another four men dedicating their lives to God in the angelic monastic life, reports the site of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

During the All-Night Vigil of April 6-7, when the entire Holy Mountain was celebrating the feast of the Annunciation, the novices Presian and Kaloyan were dressed in the angelic order, receiving the names Paisy and Ephraim respectively.

On April 7, during the Divine Liturgy, the novices Andrei and Sergei were tonsured as monks, receiving the names Ambrose and Porphyry respectively.

Brothers Kaloyan, Andrei, and Sergei were tonsured before the altar under the mantia of their spiritual father, the abbot of the monastery Schema-Archimandrite Ambrose, and Brother Presian under the mantle of his elder Hiero-Schemamonk Kirill.

About 100 guests from Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Serbia, and Macedonia participated in the services for the great feast at the holy monastery.
