Night Liturgy on the Feast of the Holy Royal Passion-Bearers at Sretensky Monastery

On the night of July 16 to 17, when the Church honors the memory of the holy Royal Passion-Bearers, the traditional nighttime Divine Liturgy was served in Moscow’s Sretensky Monastery.

Together with the brethren of the monastery, more than 100 graduates of the Sretensky Theological Seminary served and prayed at the festal Liturgy, as well as numerous parishioners.

Upon completion of the Divine Liturgy, the acting abbot of Sretensky Monastery Hieromonk John (Ludischev) addressed those gathered in worship, congratulating everyone with the feast of the holy Royal Passion-Bearers, thanking them for their common prayer and wishing them God’s help.
