ROCOR will help family of beloved Moscow priest who died from coronavirus

Archpriest Alexander Ageikin, rector of the Theophany Cathedral in Moscow, reposed in the Lord on Bright Tuesday at the age of 48 due to complications caused by the coronavirus.

In addition to those who knew and loved him in Moscow and throughout Russia, the clergy and faithful of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia are “in shock” and intend to help his family, Archpriest Seraphim Gan, Chancellor of the Synod of Bishops of ROCOR told RIA-Novosti yesterday.

Fr. Alexander is survived by his wife and three daughters.
