A nation that is faithful to God and its fatherland will be miraculously blessed by God, His Eminence Metropolitan Daniel of Chiatura and Sachkhere of the Georgian Orthodox Church said during his Sunday sermon at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

A miracle was seen in Georgia, where there was no eruption of the coronavirus epidemic despite the fact that the churches were never closed, as in many other countries, Met. Daniel emphasized, reports 1tv.ge.

“The Georgian ethos is one of the first,” Met. Daniel said. “Someone may ask how it survived. It survived for two reasons: it was dedicated to the fatherland and to God. He who is devoted to God and to his fatherland will not be abandoned by God and will often be saved by great mercy.”

“We have seen an example of this mercy today,” the Metropolitan continued. “How this country, in spite of many problems, turned out to be much more protected than larger states, and this happened because our people spared no expense, and the people who fight to the end for the country, for love, for morality, will see a miracle of God.”

“We have seen the miracle that happened in Georgia,” he emphasized.

“This was that the spread of the conditions of the epidemic was as limited as possible, and despite that Church services never ceased, the epidemic did not break out in Georgia,” Met. Daniel said.

“God will perform a miracle for a nation that is faithful to God and the fatherland. Georgia had such dedicated patriots and that is why it has survived,” the hierarch preached.

“Life without Christ is death, and death with Christ is life. This belief has saved us from this epidemic,” he said.

In March, the Georgian Patriarchate stated that the closing of churches is an “unjustified offense against God.”

Earlier that month, His Holiness Patriarch-Catholicos Ilia revealed that he had been granted a spiritual vision, which he understood to mean that “with the help of prayer and the blessing of the Lord, we will be able to overcome this disease.”

Thank you Saydna and thanks for Pat of Georgia that proves maybe the only one adhering to the faith with Cyprus and Russia I am sorry to say although there is a virus but at no point there was an epidemic. Just because we have a lot of people testing positive doesn't mean we have a epidemic, that is without even taking into consideration the fact that even CDC has said that less than half tested positive are true! This is all insane. What counts is how many people are actually dying! Anything is a mere Scientific heresy. I am a pharmacist I know what I am saying. How can we know if there is an epidemic? Either test every human being to know how much it really killed, or wait and watch which makes more sense. Did the hospitals get overwhelmed? Did people die in the streets? None. Chris na didn't lie to us about a fast spreading highly contagious virus to let people die! It's the opposite: they hid the truth that this virus is as bad as regular flu if not less, and spread fear and horror every where! Orthodoxy mostly fell in huge game. If CDC came out with a lot of info that contradicts what we are told on TV (which is complete common sense to those willing to listen) then why no guidelines are changing!? Money. Every one has heard about hospitals signing off death certificates as dying from COVID. in my hospital my sister in law who works in research has to fight in vein this problem daily. One pharma company pays $47k for every COVID pat to test a COVID med. That by itself is a crime because this Virus needs no special medication. Just like the flu. Some of this money goes to the hospital the other is kept by the lab. Those who manage the labs knows that funding on their research can stop anytime. They try to hord as much money as possible to keep their labs running in case things go south. This is one of the reasons why HYDROXYCHOLOROQUIN didn't work! They don't want it to work! It's very bad times but no one wants yo listen. We are struggling to fill our church back with parishioners although all that is allowed is 35 people. They don't want yo come and make excuses. We taught people that and gave them excuse, while they are still attending restaurants!!

Thank you Lord for giving us these true witnesses of the faith and your true good servants, in these times when so many are betraying You, Our God, Our Saviour Lord Jesus Christ. They are our lamps in this ultimate darkness that is inevitably approaching the whole world. Your Holiness, Patriarch Ilia, pray for us, Orthodox Christians, scattered all over the world, without the shepherds to keep us safe from the hordes of demons coming upon this world. Glory to God for everything!
