On July 17th, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Holy Royal Martyrs of Russia. Here at Saint Elisabeth Convent we have a church in honor of the Royal Martyrs, so it is also that church's Patron Feast day.
This video was filmed on the day of the feast in 2019. Father Andrey Lemeshonok talked about the example, that the Royal Martyrs set:
"The Royal Martyrs are examples of life and love, built on the Christian faith. They were killed, and it’s a terrible crime, but the fruits of life sprout on the blood of the Holy Martyrs."
