After the canonization of St. Kallinikos of Edessa (1919-1984) by the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Constantinople on July 23, many Orthodox began asking if there are any audio archives of the saint so they could hear his voice and the style of his speech.

According to his site, parembasis.gr, Metropolitan Hierotheos of Nafpaktos has preserved a 16-minute introductory speech by St. Kallinikos from the hierarchical conference of the Holy Metropolis of Edessa in 1970, which has been published on YouTube.

Listen to the voice of the saint:

On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, the uncovering of the precious relics of St. Kallinikos will be celebrated at Holy Protection Cathedral in Edessa.
