The original Russian version of the famous book Everyday Saints (Несвятые Святые), written by His Eminence Metropolitan Tikhon of Pskov and Porkhov, was named among the best-selling Russian books of the decade according to the online store Ozon, reports RBK.
“Ozon noted the book of Metropolitan Tikhon Shevkunov, Everyday Saints, which was the #1 best seller for 14 months,” writes RBK.
The book was initially issued in Russian in 2011, rising to the top of the charts in just a month, where it remained until March 2013. It received the Book of the Year Award in September 2012.
As of early 2019, more than 3 million copies of the book had been sold. It has been translated into 18 foreign languages, most recently Chinese. It was released in English in the U.S. on October 1, 2012, and has been among the best-selling English-language Orthodox books ever since.
