Russian Department for External Church Relations launches new site in 10 languages

The Department for External Church Relations of the Russian Orthodox Church launched a new site on February 1, presenting inter-Church news and expert analyses on current events in 10 languages.

The site is now available in Russian, Ukrainian, English, Greek, German, French, Italian, Serbian, Romanian, and Arabic.

The site presents “news about inter-Orthodox, inter-Christian and interreligious relations, the Moscow Patriarchate’s cooperation with inter-state institutes, international non-governmental organizations and authorities, public and interreligious associations, as well as about work with compatriots in the far abroad diaspora, the life of Church representations, monasteries and Patriarchal parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in other countries, as well as Old Belief parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church and relationships with the Old Belief community,” reports the DECR.

The site will also especially highlight news regarding the Ukrainian schism and the situation of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church, and present analytical materials from scholars and publicists.
