Every year, at the end of the procession of the Holy Apokathilosis (Descent from the Cross) in the courtyard of the Holy Monastery of Saint Augustine and Saint Seraphim of Sarov in Trikorfo Fokidos, the reenactment of Christ’s Passions takes place according to the Jerusalem typical procedure. The trial and condemnation of Jesus in the Praetorium, the procession with the Cross from the Praetorium to Golgotha, the Crucifixion, the Apokathilosis and the burial of the body of Jesus Christ. Jerusalem comes to life every year here in Trikorfo Fokidos, since it is the first monastery where the reenactment and dramatizations take place according to the Jerusalem typical order, since the 1990s.
