Ippokratios Politia, Greece, August 12, 2021
An icon of St. Paisios the Athonite is heavily streaming myrrh in a Greek chapel that was recently in danger of being destroyed.
The Vassiliadis family from Ippokratios Politia sent a video to Ekklisia Online yesterday, showing the icon full of myrrh:
The icon is from the private chapel on the Vassiliadis estate. Wildfires broke out in the area several days ago, which came up to the borders of their estate before changing course, leaving the chapel and icon and the family’s house unharmed.
The icon has been streaming myrrh since yesterday morning.
There are already several stories of monasteries, churches, and villages being miraculously saved as fires continue to spread in Greece.
OrthoChristian also reported on an icon of St. Paisios streaming myrrh on the island of Crete last month.
