Another mass Baptism was celebrated in Uganda recently, uniting 20 souls to Christ in His Holy Church.

The service was celebrated by His Grace Bishop Silvester of Gulu and Eastern Uganda, reports the press service of the Georgian Orthodox Church.

The hierarch counseled the newly illumined Christians to live joyfully, prayerfully, and humbly in their new, Christ-like way of life as Orthodox Christians.

His Grace also called on the parents and Godparents of the baptized to follow the Christian way of life, to set a good spiritual example for their children, to reenforce faith in their souls, and to be good, peaceable citizens.

Dozens were also baptized in Uganda during Great Lent this year.
