Thieves stole a bell from the Chapel of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Kreštelovac in northern Croatia on November 11. The incident was reported and police arrived to conduct an investigation, reports the Metropolis of Montenegro.

The village of Kreštelovac is famous for the healing spring next to the chapel, with pilgrims coming from all around. Healings have been known to occur there for centuries.

The chapel was built in 1747, and the spring was included in the list of the healing springs of Slavonia. Orthodox priests celebrate molebens and bless water there on Sundays.
