Romania, March 28, 2022
Pro-life marches were held in over 150 localities throughout Romania and Moldova over the weekend, under the banner, “Equality, Equity, and Support: From the First Second of Life.”
“The future belongs to those who are overwhelmed by this light of love and whose heart beats for other hearts in difficult situations. The future is pro-life, because that’s the only way the future exists,” commented Alexandra Nadane, Preside of the Romania for Life Association, at the March for Life in Bucharest on Saturday.
At the end of the Bucharest route, participants were treated to a concert that raised donations for Ukrainian refugees, reports the Basilica News Agency.
“Equality, equity, and support means the establishment of centers for women in pregnancy at the institutional level, and on a personal level, helping pregnant women,” said Valentina Doliș, President of Students for Life.
“The Mother of God’s humble acceptance to receive the Savior Christ in her womb is for us the undeniable example by which we must joyfully and lovingly receive life as a Divine gift, offered to His creatures,” His Eminence Archbishop Irineu of Alba Iulia said at the march in his city.
Other marches also collected necessary items such as diapers and baby formula and help seminars on topics such as vulnerable mothers and overcoming emotional addiction.
