Serbian Patriarch celebrates Vidovdan in Kosovo

Patriarch Porfije of Serbia arrived in Kosovo yesterday for the celebration of Vidovdan, the day of the Battle of Kosovo. On the evening of June 27, he arrived at the Gracanitsa Monastery, where he was met by the ruling Bishop of Rashko-Prizren, Theodosius.

    

A traditional festive concert was held in the courtyard of the monastery that evening.

    

Today, Patriarch Porfiry led the Divine Liturgy at the Gracanica Monastery. On the evening of June 27, Metropolitans Ioannikiy of Montenegro and Primorye and Chrysostom of Dabrobosnia, Bishops Athanasius of Mileshevo, Hilarion of Timok, Siluan of Australia and New Zealand and David of Stobia, as well as Archbishop John of Ohrid and Metropolitan John of Skopje, also arrived for the celebrations.
