Schismatics seize church and toss vestments and crosses in the trash

Photos were circulated online recently putting the Ukrainian schismatics’ blasphemous attitude towards sacred items on full display, reports the Information-Education Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

After schismatics seized the church in the village of Olyanitsya, Vinnitsa Province, they proceeded to gather up altar server robes with crosses on them, crosses brought from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, and other blessed items and toss them out with the trash.

Photos were published by a local parishioner of the canonical Church.

A “hieromonk” of the schismatic OCU, Leonty, not only stood by and watched this happen, but actively participated, as the video shows. Despite the aggressiveness of the schismatic, the canonical priest barely defended himself, and displayed Christ-like meekness.
