His Beatitude Metropolitan Jonah (Paffhausen) has been discharged from the Tbilisi hospital where he was being treated for pneumonia.
Yesterday, OrthoChristian reported that the Metropolitan was hospitalized while on pilgrimage to Georgia.
Today, Br. Kyrylo, who is traveling with Met. Jonah, informed OrthoChristian that “Metropolitan Jonah has been discharged from the hospital, and has just the remnants of pneumonia/some fatigue.”
“He feels well enough to serve part of the Saturday morning English language Divine Liturgy at the St. George Church in Tbilisi, and the one on May 31st in Kutaisi.”
