St. Porphyrios Monastery in Gaza City, which has served as a shelter for hundreds of citizens since the war began last fall, was hit again by enemy fire.

According to the Order of St. George, with reference to sources inside the monastery, three artillery rockets landed on the first floor of the monastery yesterday. Two of them exploded, injuring one Christian and two Muslim civilians.

Among the injured is Vailet Saygh Souri who lost several family members in the previous blast in October. She has a large piece of shrapnel lodged in her hand, while another victim suffered a broken leg.

The monastery wrote on Facebook:

We thank the Lord and the intercessions of St. Porphyrios that everyone is fine. We have three moderate injuries and we thank God for everything. We thank you for all your questions and your prayers.
