Thanks to the fierce campaign waged by the godless Ukrainian schismatics against their fellow Ukrainians, the city if Irpin in the Kiev Province has been deprived of its last functioning Orthodox church.

On Thursday, September 19, a group of raiders from the OCU, with support from the mayor of the city of Irpin and the local police, seized the St. Nicholas Church and the Chapel of the Resurrection of Christ, reports the Telegram channel the First Cossack.

The church was formerly led by Archpriest Vladimir Bormashev, who died from injuries sustained during an evacuation of Irpin in March 2022.

According to Archpriest Alexander Fedorichko, dean of the Irpin Deanery, the raiders cut the locks off the church and announced that it now belongs to their nationalist organization, the “Orthodox Church of Ukraine,” which was founded by Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople and the Ukrainian and American governments in 2018.

As is common in such situations in Ukraine, the physical seizure was preceded by the falsification of church documents, claiming it legally belongs to the schismatic OCU.

According to the First Cossack, the St. Nicholas Church was the last church in Irpin where the Orthodox faithful could go to pray and worship.

“It seems that the raiders and activists of Epiphanius’ [the head of the OCU] structure have nothing sacred left. This church was built by the late Fr. Vladimir Bormashev, who perished during the Russian shelling in Irpin at the beginning of the full-scale war,” the message reads.
