For the first time, St. Catherine’s Monastery on Mt. Sinai is offering official replicas of its most renowned Byzantine icons. This initiative allows people worldwide to own true-to-life reproductions of these sacred artworks.
Founded in the 6th century, St. Catherine’s houses priceless treasures, including the famous Christ Pantocrator icon and the 4th-century Codex Sinaiticus.
The project, a result of a three-year collaboration between the Monastery, the Friends of Mount Sinai Monastery, and Legacy Icons, marks a significant milestone in supporting the monastery’s spiritual and cultural contributions, writes Medievalists.net.

The initial collection features replicas of:

Christ Pantocrator (6th century)

Moses and the Burning Bush (c. 13th century)

Saint Catherine with Scenes of her Life (18th century)
These replicas are created using high-resolution scans, preserving even minute details. They are printed on premium Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper and mounted on solid hardwoods for authenticity. Smaller, more affordable versions on archival canvas are also available.
